New measure of economic health.

It’s called the “MGWHTKO” (pronounced migwitco) index. It uses the mess in Kurt’s office to measure the amount of work at Reno Type, and therefore of the manufacturing segment in general. The index was born when our office cleaning service (Simple Clean Janitorial… who does a GREAT JOB, by the way) left a note that said “My God what happened to Kurt’s Office?”
The mess in Kurt’s office is always substantial, but it’s mass varies according to the amount of work in the shop. Lots of work equates to lots of mess.
According to the mess in the office at present, the US manufacturing segment is well on its way to full recovery.
